Update from yesterday(the 15th of June)

Yesterday was AMAZING! The relationships built, the conversations had, the love we shared and received. We talked with Taiwanese people one on one And answered the following questions: 1. What is your English/ Taiwan name. 2. What is your favorite food. 3. What is your favorite movie. 4. What do you want to do in the future.
It was great to get to talk one on one even though it was hard with language barriers. We sang and worshiped together and it was a blessing. We had lunch together the went on a food scavenger hunt. We were given the word Fish and the last word Ice. We had to have the second food start with the last letter of the first word. And the next the last of that. We had to have 5 total so. 1. Fish 2. Hot dog 3. Grapes 4. Sushi 5. Ice. ( that was my team.)
I got really close with these 3 girls. W had some conversations about God and religion. I am so blessed to have met these people. So boys played basketball and others mingled for a few hours. We had a Barbecue and hung out.
We had a little pow-wow after. We shared stories from over the past few days.
Braylee-(a summary) I met this little girl Sammi and even thought I don't understand a word that she is saying we have a fun time together. We laugh and have fun. And it blesses my heart that even though we have a language barrier we can still have a relationship.

Haley and Mo- three guys came that they met in the street and they where blessed that they had a chance to get to known them.

Katy- it was amazing to see us all worshiping in two different languages and even thought we speak differently we all worship one GOD.

Some Taiwanese kid- Thought Eilish had a tattoo and she didn't. They had a good conversation and she thought him Russian

Ester-Lord gave her confidence to make new friends here and branch out.

Personal note.

Today is Father's Day in a few hours. I wanted to thank my Daddy for always being there for me and supporting me in everything that I want to do. For believing in my,loving me, showing me God's love, helping me on my faith walk and growing in Christ and SO much more. I will always remember you putting me to bed and reading stories with me most every night. The times we have spent playing candy land and crazy 8's. I will always charity the time that we spent together when we climb mount Washington. You are the best daddy and I love you so so much. I'm crying like a baby right now. I a, so blessed to have you be apart of my life and show me the love you have. I miss you daddy. I'll see you soon!

Salvation bracelets

We split into partners and made bracelets that tell the story to salvation! It was hard with some language barriers but we did it!
Black- our sin has made us dirty. We all have fallen short of the glory of God
Red- the blood Jesus split for us
White- He has made us white as snow and washed us of our sin
Blue- baptism-outward proclamation of our faith
Green-growing in your faith with your brothers and sisters. Reading your bible and praying
Yellow- hope of eternal life
